Heuchera villosa var. macrorrhiza (shaggy silverbell)

The hairy alumroot (Callisia alumroot) is captivating with its distinctive, dense hairs and vibrant color variations. Its large leaves shine a fresh, light green in summer before transforming into a spectacular orange-red in autumn – a veritable firework display for partially shaded garden corners! From September onwards, richly flowering spikes in delicate greenish-white rise above the bushy foliage, adding a subtle accent. The floral display lasts until November and makes a wonderful cut flower.
