Aquilegia chrysantha 'Yellow Queen' (Columbine)

The columbine 'Yellow Queen' blooms in the softest lemon yellow, a delight in any early summer garden! Its flowers appear in abundance from May to June and should not be cut later: columbines are short-lived, but reliably self-seed in suitable locations. 'Yellow Queen' is also excellent as a cut flower and can thrive in pots on the balcony.

Flowering time: May-Jun
Height/planting distance: 70 cm/25-30 cm
Location: Sun to partial shade, fresh soil
Please note: Short-lived, it self-seeds and spreads through the garden over the years.

Quality features of our perennials:
• Mother plant propagation
• Open-field cultivation
• Avoidance of chemical fertilizers and growth regulators
• Use of beneficial insects against pest infestation
• Traditional perennial production for 130 years

Perennials are only shipped within Germany, as the delivery time abroad would be too long for the plants.
