Valeriana officinalis (Common Valerian)

Originally known as a medicinal plant, valerian is currently making waves as a bedding perennial and was featured in almost every show garden at the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show. This is surely due to its tall, delicate form and beautiful pale pink and white flowers. It has a translucent appearance and adds a naturalistic touch.

Location: Sun, partial shade, fresh to moist soil
Please note: Water well during dry periods; can be used as a medicinal plant.
