Bistorta officinalis, Persicaria bistorta 'Superbum' (knotweed)

The elongated panicles of the knotweed 'Superbum' rise proudly, illuminating the flower bed with their distinctive, pale pink blossoms. While their appearance may seem rather simple, they are no less charming for it. There is something almost meditative about watching them move in the gentle evening breeze. This perennial thrives in moist, sunny to partially shaded locations and rewards its caretaker with lush growth.
