Thalictrum delavayi (Chinese Meadow Rue)

The beautiful light purple flower panicles seem to float in the air like a cloud and bring lightness and transparency to the garden. The finely feathered foliage is reminiscent of columbines. Good for semi-shady areas.

Habitat: sun, partial shade, fresh soil
Notes: water well in dry conditions, this tall perennial needs a little support if the site is not ideal
