Delicate varieties for abundant blooms on balconies and terraces
We are often asked which varieties of our flower seeds are suitable for containers and pots on balconies or roof terraces. Generally speaking, anything that can be planted in the garden will also thrive in large containers with good soil, plenty of sun, and sufficient care. However, we also offer some more delicate varieties with abundant blooms. These are perfect for smaller pots or even window boxes.
These varieties are much more beautiful and sustainable than the usual balcony flowers from the garden center. It's best to sow them indoors from March onwards and then plant them out in containers and pots outdoors from May. Sufficient organic fertilizer, sun, and water are essential for the plants. And those who regularly cut flowers for vases will be rewarded with months of blooms. Give it a try – nothing stands in the way of a cut flower garden on your city balcony!
