Flower seeds for the balcony
Delicate varieties for flowering in the smallest of spaces
We are often asked which varieties of our flower seeds are well suited for the balcony or roof terrace. Basically, anything I can plant in the garden will also grow in large soil pots with good substrate, plenty of sun and sufficient care. However, we also have a little more delicate varieties with great flowering qualities in our range. These are perfect for smaller pots or even balcony boxes.
These varieties are much more beautiful and sustainable than the normal balcony flowers from the nursery. It is best to sow them indoors from March and then plant them out on the balcony from May. Sufficient organic fertiliser, sun and water are important for the plants. And if you regularly cut flowers for the vase, you will be rewarded with months of flowering. Try it out, nothing stands in the way of a cut flower garden on the city balcony!
