Angelica archangelica

An imposing specimen perennial with an ornamental shape and large, green umbel flowers on reddish stems that brings something very bold and wild to the garden. Blends fabulously into a wide variety of beds as it always matches the colour. Also an absolute highlight when dried in a vase. Has a very modern look. The plant is short-lived but self-seeds. All parts of the plant are highly aromatic, the roots are used in herbal bitters.
