Calamagrostis arundinacea var. brachytricha (Korean Feather Reed Grass)

My absolute favorite grass! In Potsdam I planted it along with asters and regularly received many compliments in autumn about how beautiful it looks. The overhanging leaves with the beautiful pink shimmering flower panicles are a stunner. The dew often catches in the panicles and then sparkles in the sunlight. Particularly noteworthy is the long shelf life of the flowers, which also look enchanting in bouquets. Also suitable as a rose companion or on the balcony for containers with a soil volume of 10 litres or more!

Notes: Leave flower panicles until early spring, as they are also beautiful in winter!
