Heuchera villosa var. macrorrhizza – Hairy alumroot

The hairy alumroot is fascinating with its distinctive, dense hairiness and vibrant colors. The large leaves glow in fresh light green in summer before turning a spectacular orange-red in fall—a firework display for semi-shaded garden corners! From September onwards, richly flowering spikes in delicate greenish-white rise above the bushy foliage and attract numerous insects. The flowers continue to bloom until November and are wonderful as cut flowers.

Position: sun, fresh & well-drained soil

Plant in groups of at least 3.
