Lavandula x intermedia ‘Grosso’ (Lavender)

The tall-growing variety Lavandula x intermedia ‘Grosso’ comes from France and corresponds to the typical Provence lavender. It is considerably larger than Lavandula angustifolia. The flowers have a beautiful purple colour. When they unfold their full splendour between June and August, the lavender ‘Grosso’ becomes an eye-catcher. With its characteristic fragrance, pretty flowers and robust growth, it is an asset to any garden. Lavandula x intermedia ‘Grosso’ has a low water requirement and needs only sparing watering.
