Matteuccia struthiopteris (Ostrich Fern)

This impressive ostrich fern decorates the garden with its fresh green and ostrich feather-like fronds. It is better planted out in larger gardens as the perennial forms underground runners and is thus ground-covering over time.

Height/spacing: 80-120cm/90cm
Habitat: part shade/shade, fresh to moist soil.
Notes: native, drought and sun resistant, slug resistant

Plant in small groups if possible.
