Planting instructions

Sowing & caring for Flowering Tobacco

Only press the seeds onto the surface and do not cover them with soil (light germinator). Sow indoors between February and April. Only plant out when there is no longer any danger of frost. Can also be sown directly into the bed in late spring. Water well. The flowering period is extended by regular pruning.

Harvesting Flowering Tobacco & cutting for the vase

Cut when a third of the flowers on a stem have opened. The flowers wilt quickly, so it is best to harvest them in the morning. Remove the wilted flowers from the lower half of the stems every few days.
