Scabiosa caucasica ‘Blauer Atlas‘ (Scabious)

Scabiosa caucasica ‘Blauer Atlas’ is a magnificent cut perennial whose bright blue, cupped flowers push high from the foliage from July to September and attract many butterflies, bees and bumblebees. Regular removal of the faded stems ensures a perpetual flush of flowers! Suits cottage gardens as well as modern plantings with grasses. One of the few blue perennials to flower at this time!

Position: sun, fresh, well-drained soil
Notes: easy to care for, undemanding, hardy, cut flower, bee meadow

Plant in small groups if possible.
