Sowing and caring for nasturtiums

Sow indoors between February and April. Plant the seeds about 0.8 inches deep. Keep the soil warm and moist. Transplant as soon as there is no longer any risk of frost. Can also be sown directly into the garden bed in late spring. Requires a climbing support. Perfect for beginners! Flowering period is extended by regular pruning.

Harvesting nasturtiums & cutting them for vases

Cut the flowers when they are just opening. They will last 7 to 10 days in a vase.
