Agapanthus Hybride ‘Twister’ (African Lily)

Twister lives up to its name. The flowers of this extraordinary agapanthus are two-toned—white tubes that fade into blue at their tips, gently, almost hesitantly, as if they were not quite sure of themselves yet. A play of colors that must be seen to be believed. From July to August, it rises on long, elegant stems above the broad, dark green foliage – calm, upright, confident. The umbels are large and loose, and they move with an unmistakable lightness in the wind. ‘Twister’ likes it sunny and warm, tolerates drought surprisingly well, and looks just as good in pots on the patio as it does in a summer perennial bed.

Location: Sun, fresh & well-drained soil

Plant in groups of 3-5.
