Papaver Orientale-Hybr. ‘Princess Victoria Louise’ (Oriental Poppy)

The flowering time of the Turkish poppy is fantastic! Huge salmon-pink individual flowers open from numerous, large buds with a striking black centre. The petals seem to be made of tissue paper and are perfect for cutting. The dried seed pods are also ornamental – in the garden or in the vase!

Flowering time: May-June
Height/Plant spacing: 80 cm/70 cm
Habitat: Sun, normal to dry soil.
Notes: moves in after flowering, the resulting gap can be planted with annuals, for example. Propagates in a suitable location.
