Veronica longifolia (Long-Leaved Speedwell)

The blue-purple inflorescences of long-leaved speedwell are a good 25 cm long and usually have a few side branches. With their candle-like, upright effect, they are beautiful neighbors to wheel-shaped or plate-like flowers. The long-leaved speedwell is a grateful native wild perennial for plantings of all kinds in not too dry soils. Also suitable as a cut flower or rose companion!
