Angelica sylvestris ‘Vicar’s Mead’ (Angelica)

7,90

The purple angelica ‘Vicar’s Mead’ forms impressive pink flowers from aubergine-coloured buds from July to September, which lighten in the process of fading. As a nectar-rich umbellifer, it attracts a wide range of insects. It is a real highlight in the flower bed and, as a short-lived perennial that spreads well, it flowers in full splendour the year after planting. I place it singly and rhythmically between the existing planting and am delighted the next year by the abundance and magic it spreads in the perennial bed. An eye-catcher for many months!
