Salvia nemorosa ‘Caradonna’ (Meadow Sage)

The perennial Salvia nemorosa ‘Caradonna’ is a steppe sage with a very long flowering period. The unusual, dark purple colour not only captivates us, it is a real magnet for bees, butterflies and other insects. There is nothing more beautiful than marvelling at the busy activity of the flying creatures on a sunny day. The perennial loves the sun and is very robust. If allowed to spread, it appears bushy.

Habitat: sun, dry to fresh soil
Notes: easy to care for, hardy, long flowering period, bee pasture

Plant in small groups if possible.
