Centranthus ruber ‘Albus’ (Red Valerian)

My absolute favourite among the perennials. Extremely long and luxuriant flowering time if regularly cut off the faded flowers. Discreet white-greenish flowers complement any perennial planting. Fantastic gap filler, as the spur flower already grows to state size in the first year. Beautiful with grasses, roses, prairie perennials. Simply always fits.

Flowering time: May-Sep
Height/spacing: 60cm/40cm
Habitat: sun, partial shade, dry soil
Notes: tolerates drought, rather short-lived, but keeps well by self-seeding, cut off withered flowers regularly for a long flowering period

Perennials are only shipped to Germany due to long delivery times!
